Professional background

A practicing lawyer, Melanie Díaz has a Law Degree from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in International Business Law from ESADE; a Postgraduate in Legal Practice on Commercial Law (2019); she has completed various training courses for Data Protection Officers, as well as the Master’s Degree in Compliance (2020-2021), the Master’s Degree in Digital Environments Law (2022-2023) by the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB) and has completed the UNE-ISO 37301 Auditor Training Course: 2021 on Compliance Management Systems by COMPCAT (2023).
She also holds the Compliance certification and the Internationally Certified Compliance Professional accreditation from CESCOM and the Compliance Expert Course from ASCOM.
