Dr. Ramon Ragués

Professional background

Professor of Criminal Law at the Pompeu Fabra University, Dr Ramon Ragués has enjoyed a thirty-year career in Criminal Law teaching and research, which resulted in numerous publications, conferences and seminars.
Between 2000 and 2004, he served as a substitute magistrate at the Provincial Court of Barcelona and subsequently acted as an advisor to public and private institutions .
He collaborates as an academic consultant for the firm, providing legal advice and coordinating training activities through the corresponding agreements made under art. 60 LOSU.
In addition to teaching in the Degree in Law of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), Dr Ramon Ragués is director of UPF’s Master’s Degree Program in Law and professor of the Master’s Program in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences at the University of Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University.. 
He gives numerous training courses for lawyers, judges and prosecutors periodically, both in Spain and abroad..
